3 Deewarein (2003) & its similarities. |
Though it cannot be taken as a straight inspiration, but the English masterpiece “The Shawshank Redemption” (1994) must have been there in the mind of director Nagesh Kukunoor, while he thought of the theme of 3 Deewarein. And though the movie cannot be rated among his best, it can still be called an interesting watch with an entertaining climax and a surprise twist.
