Akele Hum Akele Tum (1995) & Kramer Vs. Kramer (1979)

This Aamir Khan & Manisha Koirala starrrer is highly inspired from Dustin Hoffman’s “Kramer Vs. Kramer” which is also based on the relationship between a loving couple  after their marriage and their emotional journey towards a divorce.

Secondly it also has some inspired songs like “Dil Mera Churaya Kyun”, taken from George Michael’s “Last Christmas” and “Raja Ko Rani Se Pyar Ho Gaya”, which is quite similar to famous “Godfather Theme Music”.

And the funniest thing is that in the film itself there is a clear reference to the music piracy being done in a similar way by a music director duo.
