Awaara Paagal Deewane (2002) & The Whole Nine Yards (2000)

This funny crime thriller featuring Akshay Kumar & Suniel Shetty is heavily based on Bruce Willis starrer "The Whole Nine Yards”. All the major characters and sequences in the movie have a straight resemblance with the English original. In the Hindi version too the hero (Aftab) is a dentist and even the Tattoo which Akshay has on his shoulder is also quite similar to that of Bruce Willis.

But the Hindi version has a one plus point and that’s Paresh Rawal. He single handedly takes the movie to another level with his immaculate comic timing along with Johny Lever.
