Bachna Ae Haseeno - Inspired Western Theme with Indianized twists & turns.

If you feel that “Bachna Ae Haseeno” is a new & original story idea then you must check out the following references which all move around a similar kind of plot revolving around the various loving relationships of an individual.

There is John Cusack’s “High Fidelity” (2000) in which he tries to find out why his affairs were not successful in the past. And then goes back to his girlfriends asking them the reasons for their breakups.

There is one of our movies from the GOLDEN PAST suggestively titled “Teen Deviyan” (1965) featuring the evergreen Dev Anand juggling between his three lovely ladies.

And though not entirely but the basic theme of BAH also has similarities with “Definitely, Maybe” (2008) and “John Tucker Must Die” (2006) which also exploit a similar kind of plot talking about a man’s affairs with his various love interests.

Moreover the first half of “Bachna Ae Haseeno” also has acute resemblance to Yash Raj Films own “Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge” (1995) and even the characters talk about the same film in their scenes.
