"Fanaa" starring Aamir Khan & Kajol has a first half with heavy dose of love and poetry. But its second half is clearly inspired from the 1981 released movie "Eye of The Needle".

Though there is no one blind lady in the English version but rest is all there in the same way. A spy has an accident; he is saved and gets shelter from a family of three persons, a husband, wife and a child. As days pass, the spy and the lady get attracted towards each other, starting an affair. And in a similar kind of climax the lady kills her lover with the gun when she comes to know the truth about him. In "Fanna", the same plot was all Indianized by incorporating a children song and other essential emotional elements as required.
