Ghulami - Bobby Talks Cinema.com

A well conceived and fantastically directed movie about the rural villages of Rajasthan, their customs and exploitation of farmers by the local money lenders. It talks about the still prevailing issues of caste and untouchability in Indian remote areas. Simply the best work by the director J. P. Dutta and also one of the Top 10 movies of Dharmendera and Mithun Chakraborty.

Rajasthan, its charm and its breath taking locations have been captured beautifully on the screen. Naseeruddin Shah, Smita Patil & Kulbhushan Kharbanda are also there contributing their valuable inputs to this once in a while movie. Dialogues written by O. P. Dutta are one of the most worth mentioning assets of this intense drama. The melodious music by Laxmikant Pyarelal simply touches your heart and the songs are still popular till date. In few words it’s a fabulous cinematic experience featuring Rajasthan, as never before.
