Half Ticket (1962) & The Major & The Minor (1942)

You must have seen the brilliant act of Kishore Kumar in Half Ticket posing as a small boy in knickers, trying to get a half ticket for his train journey. His cute act was equally supported by the gorgeous Madhubala and the cunning Pran.

However this plot was all inspired from Billy Wilder’s The Major & The Minor” (1942) which was later remade as You're Never Too Young by Norman Taurog. Here the only difference was that in the English Original, it’s a girl posing as a child to save on her train fare.
