Heyy Babyy (2007) & its inspirations.

Sajid Khan’s directorial debut “Heyy Baby”, was a fairly entertaining movie, taking inspirations from more than one film. Till the entry of Vidya Balan, the story keeps following “Three Men & A Baby” (1987) tightly and after that it changes the path to a different angle in the script. In between it also takes some sequences from Jackie Chan’s “Rob B Hood” (2006) where again a child is there with 3 friends.

Interestingly “Three Men & A Baby” itself was a remake of French movie called “3 Hommes Et Un Couffin” released in 1985.

However, I also remember one more fine movie on a similar kind of theme, where a person gets an anonymous letter telling him that he is a father of a son. To solve the strange mystery, he goes on to meet every girl friend he had in his past years. That was Bill Murray in “Broken Flowers” (2005)
