There was a time when almost all the youngsters in India were very much influenced by the Western Culture and its living style. That gave Manoj Kumar the idea of making this highly successful movie. A true Indian flick, rightly explaining the rich culture and rituals of a great nation called INDIA. The story revolves around Manoj Kumar’s visit to the foreign land and how he manages to change the hearts of Indians living there under extreme western influence.

A special mention must be given to the melodious songs of the movie which are still famous and played at all the Independence Day functions in India. The lyrics, written with love for the country are rich in content equivalent to that of our precious Hindi & Urdu Literature.
