A film from the golden days of director Mahesh Bhatt and surely among his Top 5. The movie is a sensitive portrayal of an old couple living alone in Mumbai. Its about their fight with life after they get the news of their only son’s death who was living abroad. The best and worth mentioning part of this emotional drama is that the two leading actors Anupam Kher and Rohini Hattangidi who have enacted the role of an old couple in the movie were actually in their energetic youth at the time of its making. Moreover it was also the debut movie of Anupam Kher, who later went on to become the most talented actors of Bollywood.
