The immensely blessed Saira Banu and the amazing love story of SAIRA-DILIP. (A loving share by Bobby Sing)

23 Aug, 2017 | Articles on Cinema / FEW LIFE INSPIRING WORDS & POSITIVE SHARES

A young girl in her teens gets a crush on a big star and ‘legend in the making’ of Hindi cinema. When she was not even 18, gets a major break in a film with another young heartthrob of those times (Shammi Kapoor) and delivers a musical hit, winning a roaring appreciation for her debut performance along with a Filmfare nomination.

Successfully establishing herself in the industry, she is willing to get featured in a film with the man she has been loving since the adolescent years. But the big star isn’t amused thinking that their age-gap is too much and will look awkward on screen. The girl delivers more hits but the talks of casting them together in one or two films couldn’t get materialize. Within a couple of years, she turns into a beautiful grown-up lady and looking at her stunning beauty, the star is willing to do a film with her too fulfilling the girl 's childhood dream of being the leading lady of her man.

Though their films together release a few years later  but the lady gets a surprise of her life when the star himself purposes her to be his lawful wife. Their marriage gets arranged. The industry-gossip begins pointing towards the big age-difference and the relationship soon falling apart making their own assumptions. But the couple is simply not interested in their shallow concerns and gets married becoming one of the most famous couples of the Hindi film industry.

About two decades later (having no child and dealing with their own personal issues), they both retire from films and start living a loving, peaceful and highly content life as two dear friends together.

Years pass on and age catches up. The couple gracefully grows old getting huge respect care and love from the entire film fraternity including the present stars like Shah Rukh Khan and life moves on.

Today the lady is in her early 70s and the man in his mid-90s and both shining bright as two blessed loving souls. She is so affectionately taking care of him as a mother and he conveys gratitude through his eyes both towards the love of his life and the Almighty.

She is Saira Banu, the divinely blessed lady of our tinsel-town and her man is Dilip Kumar, the most blessed husband holding her warm hands.

Together this is one of the greatest love stories being played on the stage of life, directed by none other than the supreme power himself becoming an all-time blockbuster.

And following the age-old tradition of our Indian love-stories, I would personally like to call it as SAIRA-DILIP saga and not DILIP-SAIRA making a statement of its kind, giving the much deserving due to the lady with my utmost respect, love and His Blessings.

This SAIRA-DILIP love story is here to stay…… and it is going to be here forever!

Sharing my thoughts moving beyond the initial write-up.....

For a moment just think about a young girl who began her life (as an adolescent) falling in love with one of the biggest stars of Hindi cinema (a man 22 years elder than her). She later successfully managed to be his leading lady in films as well as in life and is now in her early 70s taking good care of her beloved superstar husband of 94.

A life entirely lived in love, going through some serious marital issues in the mid-years too, this is indeed an amazing love story of the immensely blessed Saira Banu and an exemplary display of dedication towards her childhood hero Dilip Kumar.

Thinking about their inspiring togetherness, looking at the latest pictures shared on the web, I remember a famous saying that, “After a certain age of married life, a wife eventually becomes the mother taking care of her husband as a kid.”

And what better example can be there for the same than the adorable SAIRA-DILIP.

Timely reminded by the couple, would like to conclude with another important thought I had in mind while writing the short piece……… which might be helpful to many friends resulting in a much peaceful life.

"रिश्तो को तोड़ने से ज्यादा रिशते बनाने और निभाने के लिए जिगर चाहिए।
और यह बहुत खूबसूरत बात है, अगर हम समझ पाएं।"

HIS BLESSINGS
