Kaal (2005) & its possible inspirations.

‘Kaal’ is the tale of a haunting spirit and terror of killer lions in a forest. Though the theme is quite different and unique, but few particular scenes do suggest that the writer must have had “The Ghost And The Darkness” at the back of his mind while writing the script. However references of “Killers Of Kilimanjaro” (1959) can also be found in some thrilling sequences.

However, if you want to see a more gripping tale of Lion hunting, then just watch “The Ghost And The Darkness” (1996) which also features our own OmPuri in it.
