Hello Sir!
The scene from Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna ,where Priety Zinnta slap Shahrukh is copied from 'Falling In Love' starring Robert DeNiro and Meryl Streep.

I think KANK was inspired from not only from 'Brief Encounter' and 'Closer' but also from 'Falling In Love' coz falling in love was also story about four major characters and the extra marital affair which happens between two of these characters.

Thanks Raj,
Yes KANK had glimpses of so many films, but I will soon chek this out too.

Cheers!

Hello Sir!
I haven't seen Bobby Deol's 'KISMAT'(2004) but IMDB states that the film is a remake of 'PAYBACK' starring Mel Gibson.Payback itSelf is a remake of classic noir POINT BLANK(1967)
Bobby Sing

Hi Raj!
Just checked the two films and its not the complete plot or storyline that is similar but only few actions scenes that are heavily inspired from PAYBACK we can find in KISMAT.
But still inspiration was right there so thanks for the info as always.

Keep Visiting and Writing in.
Cheers!
