Hello Sir!

Pamela Chopra in her latest interview has stated that after reading a novel called DADDY-LONG -LEGS, she told Yash Chopra about it and that this novel served as a basis for LAMHE..

I think the Rajesh Khanna starrer movie (I dont remember the name of the movie) which also had the same kind of story was also inspired from this novel.

Hello Raj Vardhan,
This was indeed interesting information, but as per the synopsis of novel DADDY-LONG -LEGS its entirely a different plot with only marginal similarities.

However this is what I wrote about LAMHE with reference to MAUSAM which might surprise you,

And the Rajesh Khanna film was ANOKHA RISHTA (1986) which was also the remake of a Malayalam film.

Cheers!
