Life is completely unexpected and the whole beauty of our existence lies in this simple truth. This is the main theme of this well made movie by Aparna Sen featuring her own daughter Konkona Sen Sharma with Rahul Bose (who is a director himself). The movie is about those unseen circumstances of life in which new relationships are formed but they have to be ignored for the sake of other important people in our lives. It talks about those tender moments where we have to remember our priorities and have to control ourselves before crossing the social limits.

The story revolves around two characters Rahul & Konkona, who incidentally have to spend some days together due to communal riots in the region. To hide their individual identities, they have to pose themselves as a married couple. The ease with which they have enacted their difficult roles is indeed commendable. Worth mentioning is a short appearance by Bhisham Sahni, the writer of famous novel & serial ‘Tamas” as their co-traveler. Don’t miss it as it will be worth your valuable time.
