Why are we making two almost similar films simultaneously even in this well-connected era? (Articles on Cinema by Bobby Sing)

Before the social networking revolution in the new millennium, we had many instances of films being made on the same subject almost simultaneously (may be because of lack of communication or else) like:

A. Amitabh Bachchan’s INQUILAAB and Rajesh Khanna’s AAJ KAA M.L.A RAM AVATAR in 1984.

B. Amitabh’s TOOFAN and JAADUGAR being made at the same time around 1989.

C. PARAMPARA/KSHATRIYA and DARR/ANJAAM in the 90s.

D. The mad scenario of more than 3 films made on the life of SHAHEED BHAGAT SINGH in 2002 and more.

However its pretty strange that similar instances are being witnessed in the present well connected era too as:

A. Raveena Tandon’s MAATR and Sridevi’s MOM made on an exactly similar story progression and characterization, followed by Sanjay Dutt’s BHOOMI also having an identical premise of revenge taken by the father.

B. YRF’s QAIDI BAND and LUCKNOW CENTRAL having an exactly similar plot of a musical band being formed within the jail inmates.
